The visit to A*STAR FUSIONWORLD was conducted successfully on 27th September 2010. A total of 23 SEG students and 2 SEG staff participated in the visit. The visit has been a fruitful and enriching experience for SEG staff and students. The visit has provided the opportunity for SEG staff and students allow to experience cutting edge technologies and innovations from Singapore’s Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR) in an advanced technology wonderland. Here comes again another workshop arranged by Mr. EHIG. The workshop topic is about 7 SEGMENT with Parallax Board. In the beginning of the workshop, one of our committee members Fendy explains about how the 7 SEG work and the participants are listening to the explanation very attentively. After the explanation, our remaining committee members are helping the participants in completing the task given by Mr.EHIG. All participants are doing their work in a very good attitude of enjoyable. Here are the design that has been made by the participants Pretty cools right?? 30 June 2010, EHIG conducted its very first workshop for academic year 09/10. Mr. EHIG is very pleased and glad to see a lot of interested and excited students participated in this fruitful workshop. W23D lab was fully filled by participants. They couldn't wait for the workshop to start;) Mr. EHIG prefers peer-to-peer teaching and learning. It seemed to be very helpful in this workshop. Electronic Hobbies Interest Group had completed their Welcome Tea Ceremony on Thursday,13th May 2010.It was ended successfully.During the opening of Welcome Tea Ceremony,committees accompanied by IG's adviser managed to give details of the objectives of EHIG to the new members in which are; . To promote an interest in electronics design,and . To let interested students have a taste of what electronics is all about. During the event here are some hands on activities on the simple electronic circuit.The activity is so called steady hand game. Where by the members have to construct the circuit given as a team with the help from committee. this activity is meant for bonding purpose between member-member and member-committee.
