EHIG members attend SATS-ESN Carnival 2014
On 11 October 2014 (Saturday), EHIG
completed a service learning project in conjunction with the SATS-ESN Carnival.
The project themed “Spreading Love and Joy through Engineering Innovations” was
initiated and led by Caleb Tan with three DDEE third year students and eight
DEEE Year 2 students.
During the carnival, the students involved
had the opportunity to interact and bring joy to the beneficiaries. The
student volunteers felt a great sense of pride and satisfaction that their
innovations have touched the lives of many of the beneficiaries. All the
students involved have pledged to continue to support the carnival next year.
In appreciation to the contributions made
by RP staff and students, Mr Alexander Charles Hungate, President and CEO of
SATS, presented a token of appreciation to RP on the central stage of the
carnival.
