EHIG Workshop 2015

EHIG had run a workshop on 29 July 2015 (Wednesday). The purpose of this workshop is to share knowledge about electronics to our new members or new students in Republic Polytechnic and let them find out something new and interesting.

We had carried out some simple game which is related to engineering such as Makey-makey.  

Makey-makey was an invention kit for 21st century. It turns everyday's objects into touchpads and combines them with the internet. It's a simple invention kit for beginners ans experts doing art and engineering.

The main thing that we used to replace the keyboard or any touchpads was **FRUIT**

First of all, president was gave us a speech about the component that we will use in the game and how's the thing work. Also, we start to teach them how to create our own makey makey piano. In this session, president was projected the step on screen, and explained very well and patiently on how to deal with the programming. Also, our kind and helpful committee members were gave instructions to the students. 

After the instruction session, it's the time to play around ! We have distributed 4 sets of makey-makey to 5 teams and there are 6 or 7 person in a team played together. Since we had no enough sets of makey makey, we decided to use more fruit which means more buttons then each of them can press one button to control.

We can see all the students had fun and play around to try different games. 

At the last but not least, our workshop were gone through very smoothly until the end of the day, thanks for your coming and hope you all are enjoy and have gain something new from this workshop which organized by EHIG.
