EHIG Makey Makey Workshop 2016

      Hi, all! This is EHIG and we have arranged a workshop during ours short holiday on 21st and 22nd December. 


     In order to implement our WS to our members, we also conducted a pre-workshop on 19th and 20th December so that all committees who would attend the WS were able to understand and use the makey makey connection board as well as the software called “Scratch 2”.

      On 21st, there were totally 10 people attended the WS, including 6 committees. They were separated into three groups. The WS were conducted with three activities. In the first activity, the president introduced about the makey makey games and how we could make use on it. After that, the groups attempted to have a try on the makey makey board with some simple online games such as ‘Super Mario’.

    During the second activity, the groups attempted on making their own design with the “Scratch 2”. It was quite interesting as we saw various designs coming out. Some of the nice programs were time recorder and music player. 


    After all these introductions, the groups finally approached to prepare the real game. The three groups almost spent a whole afternoon on making two sets of Lantern ring game. Although it was the first time that they performed as a team, the three groups performed well and built friendships with one another.

On the second day, three of the committees continued to complement the first game and started to prepare the setup of the second game which is a maze game. It was a nice experience to learn knowledge and teamwork skills.

LTA SG Mobility Gallery Visit

We are immensely grateful to all the students who participated in our enlightening excursion to the LTA SG Mobility Gallery on December 11,2023.  It was a day filled with insight, exploration, and joy, as students immersed themselves in the innovative realm of land transport. The day was punctuated with activities that were as fun as they were thought-provoking.  The students gathered in teams to tackle various challenges, from conceptualizing sustainable transport solutions to engaging in simulations that showcased the impact of their ideas on the environment and society.
