Our first workshop was held on 17th June! In this workshop, the members were invited to build their own solar boat using the material given. The purpose of the workshop is to help members have a further understanding about solar cell and how it can be applied in real life. The materials provided are: solar panels with different output voltage and efficiency 2 types of propellers (one type of propellers can work under water, another type cannot work under water) motors necessary tools like cutters, wires and tickers We also provided the swimming pool for our members to test their boats. Our IG's members were divided into 2 teams and can choose the materials they need to build their boat.   They are focusing on their works!                    This is Team 1's solar boat! EHIG Welcome Tea was held on 26th May at W23D. Welcome all freshies!!!           The first part of the welcome tea was the presentation done by our president. In the presentation, an overview of our IG was shared to new members. We shared the objective of our IG, the activities and competitions we took part in, and of course, the introduction of committee members!  We also showed the S2 robot to our new members! Days are swift as an arrow, flying like a shooting star. It's time once again to decorate the room for Christmas party and bid farewell to our senior committee members as Christmas is coming.   History does not repeat itself, but it does often rhyme. Though location of the party is the same as last year, the new friends that we welcome and the old friends that we farewell are not the same anymore. Last year our seniors prepared the party for their seniors and us. And it is our turn to say goodbye to them and welcome the future of our IG. Therefore, we prepare this party with all of our heart.    This is our Christmas tree. It is very special, isn't it? First of all, let's congratulations to EHIG wining one silver award and two merit award with the total bonus S$ 3,500.  Participating in the S.A.F.E. PROGRAMME competition is our EHIG's traditions. The awarding form  S.A.F.E. PROGRAMME  competition represents the strength of EHIG. Last committee of EHIG won the gold award at  S.A.F.E. PROGRAMME  2014. Though we didn't get the gold award this year, all the teams that we sent to the  S.A.F.E. PROGRAMME  2015 had won the award at least. Therefore, all of teams can share the glorious moments together.  You may wonder what projects did we do.Then, then let me introduce the award-wining project to you!
